14 day cooling off after changes

I called Virgin to complain that my brother who pays for a 20mb service has been upgraded for free to a 60mb service, and after checking found out that my 50mb service wont be upgraded for a year so I am paying more for my 50 than he is for his 60. They gave me an upgrade and lowered my monthly payments and said that this is now a new 12 month contact I have entered into.
So does this mean I have the 14 day cooling off period again?

you wont see zero difference in speed, what peeps have to remember is that the server that is sending the data is buy etc you wont see any diff.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

No cooling-off period applies to a contract extension (it's not a new contract).
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
