So we had some work done in our bathroom today and one of the engineers left a great big sharp three inch open blade. I have children under two. If either had got hold if it they could be seriously hurt. I raise a complaint and hear nothing.

Give them, say, 14 days to reply. If they don't, then send another letter and a copy of your first one. Give them 7 days to reply. If they don't, send another reminder letter and copies of the previous two. Repeat as necessary. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

the MOST important thing is that the children were NOT hurtWhen your life is a mess, stop and think what you are doing before bringing more kids into it, it's not fair on them.

What is it you want? You need to work it out and spell it out. Do you want compo? You're ineligible. Best you'll get is a 'whoops, never mind eh love, nobody was hurt' - is it worth the stress for a 'whoops'?0

I don't want compo. I want to make sure it doesn't happen again to others. I'm leaving this thread now I can see I'm just going to get flamed.0

lets be honest here trader made a mistake
if he sends you a written apology you might use it against him
if he phones then he may be frightened you would scream at him
lets be honest here, you as parent/guider should have checked room after tradesman left0 -

Well to be fair, it only happened today so you shouldn't be surprised you've not had a reply!
At the end of the day it was a mistake....try to remember not to go overboard on it.The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
