So you've been together for the past 4 years, had a baby together during this time, you refer to him as your partner...but was claiming as a single mum.... It's amazing you've never been investigated in the past... Your changing your claim and then back again might make them suspicious as to what is going on in your relationship....0

What benefit was he claiming before? ESA or JSA....
Anyway it sounds like he changed his circumstances or did a new claim on one of those 2 benefits. That will automatically cancel your IS LP claim
So you need to -hide the family jewels- tell him to leave forthwith. On the day he leaves phone up "new claims" and do a new claim (not a Rapid Reclaim) to IS LP.
Presuming your youngest is under 5?
They will send you your statement
If you don't get the statement within 1 week phone them back
You then take your statement/envelope and 2 proofs of ID to your local JC who will photocopy the ID and send your claim away.
Wait 1 week and phone the BC to check they received your claim.0 -
You should be more worried about your kids and yourself than money!
Get all his stuff together, ask him to go to the shop and whilst he's away, throw al his stuff out and lock the doors and windows. If he causes trouble, call the police!
Worry about the benefits after you're safe.To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0
