Phone Insurance Automatic Renewal
I ahve just found out that for the last 7 years I have been paying for phone insurance for a phone that I no longer have. The insurance was taken out when I first signed up for a contract with Carphone Warehouse and was under the impression that the insurance would cease as and when my contract ended. As I have had subsequent phones with Carphone Warehouse I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary until I changed service provider and payments carried on coming out of my account. I contacted Carphone Warehouse and they have said that the insurance just rolls over, however in the years that I have been paying for the insurance I have not received any correspondance or renewel notices. Do I have to write this off as an expensive oversight on my part or can I claim any money by any means? Any advice would be appreciated.
