Can confirm the Apex on the Grassmarket has a small car park at the back

Depending how central you want to be there is an innkeepers lodge on Corstophine Rd with parking.

Probably about a 10 min drive into centre of Edinburgh and bus stop right outside. If you stay here book a double room as singles are pretty pokey and doubles are same price

It depends if you just want to park the carand how long for .
You could stick it in the airport car park or off airport parking and get the airport express bus to the city centre.£5 rtn open ticket

Edinburgh is quite a compact city.

The Holiday Inn on Queensferry Road has a car park and I don't think they charge for parking, plus there is plenty local parking nearby. It is 1.5 miles from Edinburgh's West End (15 minute walk) and there is a bus service, though not as frequent as the one on Corstorphine Road. Sainsbury's and an M&S food store are across the road at Craigleith Retail Park.
