Tesco Mobile iPhone sim for non iPhone smartphone?
Tesco mobile has sim only 12 monthly iPhone contract for £12.50 with 500mins 5000txts 1Gb data but the Normal sim for £12.50 has 750 mins and only 500Mb. As data is key for me and minutes not relevant is there anything to stop me using the iPhone sim in Android phone accepting that I will have to use a micro-normal SIM convertor (which I have)? The iPhone sim connection does not check that it is an iOS machine?

ASAIK, No, it is simply a cut down version of a sim.
I have known people, believe it or not, to cut down a standard sim and get it to work in an iPhone... so I don't see why there would be any difference vice versa0 -
In theory yes but as way listed on Tesco site wonder if they do and fancy operating system checking as they list adding in BT Open Zone access which is not listed on standard SIM?
I wonder if anybody has down it in practice.0 -
i am on iphone sim only contract which you mention and been using the sim in my se arc s for 3-4 months now no porblems:)Honesty is the best policy doesn't matter which web site
