vodafone free iPad deal
I had a call from vodafone tonight and agreed to take a free iPad for £27 a month data charges for 2 years. I have never planned to get an iPad but the way it was described seemed like too good an offer to refuse.
This is for 2gb of data each month, contracted for 2 months. On the vodafone website the 16gb iPad is £200 on the website. Has anyone else had this offer and is it a good deal? I do have the option to send it back if I don't want it. They are going to send me a sure signal unit too as I live in a mobile blackspot and don't get a good signal where I live (this has a cost of £50 usually).

What's the point in using sure signal with iPad that can connect to the router via wifi?...They are going to send me a sure signal unit too as I live in a mobile blackspot and don't get a good signal where I live (this has a cost of £50 usually).
I have a feeling that you've bought something that you don't need, but will keep paying for during the next 2 years.0 -

agreed... the i pad is £399 for the wifi version which runs off any wifi signal and ur 2gb will not last long so u will constantly be going over.
the ipad will end up costing £684 with out exceeding the limit0 -
The sure signal is so I can get mobile reception in my house as it is currently very patchy.
I think you are both right about the iPad as I probably won't use it when I can use my laptop and I can use my phone if I want internet access when I am out the house. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
so does a laptop, the ipad has been about for years but made by other companys in the form of a tablet pcDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
