Choccie- look at 1st post and it will tell you todays jobs. Don't worry about doing it all in a week just do what you can. The daily post on here is a guideline for us. Mermaid I stopped the e-mails from flylady within a week as the sheer amount of them was doing my head in. I now log onto this thread and have a wee look at this and do what I can. Must admit that even though I am not perfect I hate my house being cluttered now and it is normaly within an hour of tidy. Good luck xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -

I've done 23 parcels.. and I still have 4 more to do and one that needs paying for.. they should hopefully all be done tomorrow, but they are all going to be posted tomorrow that is a certainty!! I'm waiting for the paypal money to transfer to my account so I'll use my piggy money in the mean time.. I swapped £50 in change for £50 in real live money from the pub at the weekend.. saved taking it all into bank! I have a few cheques to go in now and some bags of coppers.
My quidco money is in my account now.. just waiting for the paypal, greasypalm, topcashback and whatever the other one was.. I'm sure there was another.
Parcelling up my ebay stuff has meant the 2 binbags I had in the corner of the room is now in the boxes with the rest which is about how much I have to take to the post office.. I'll send DH with 2 and I'll take the other 1... fling fling fling.
I have another 6 things with bids on ending on Wednesday so I'll have more to do then.. *sigh* it is never ending!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Does anyone else find that Flylady herself is a bit much? I know I could filter her mail to keep just the daily missions, but I think that if I'm going to do that I might as well just do what I can from this list and stop getting all her mails.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Mermaid
I lasted about 2 days on the flylady list, and about 4 weeks on the UK flylady list. All the americanisms and religious stuff did my head in, and I'd get home from work and find 20 emails waiting for me. In the end I just unsubscribed.
I assume that they are still on a yahoo list. If it is you could set it so you don't get sent emails and then use the yahoo website to read the posts. That way you can access it from wherever you are and just read the bits you want to read.
I find the list on here keeps me on my toes and the house tidy.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
