That happened to me with the 10 pack of Mars bars - sadly the only one that they stocked in the "correct size" - all Snickers, Milky Way and Galaxy were in FUNSIZE bags of 15 or 16 and not the 10 or 12 SNACK-SIZE packs on "special offer"

The SEL had been flipped front to back so that it was "blank" but I checked and it did say 24p

Anyway I took the last 7 to a SS till where a SA immediately offered to do the "multiple item" thing - which she did.
I'm sure there was some odd (unknown item??) message pop up but it came up at £1.68 for the 7 and it had the right description on the screen (and receipt) so I just paid and left.

This was TODAY at 13:30 in a normal Superstore

staff usually flip SELs if the item is currently out of stock or they are about to change labels so its easy for the member of staff to go along the shelf see the 'blank' label and know they have to do something about it

Yes I've seen them do this before ...

VERY GLAD that someone had done this because I'm sure with 24p EMBLAZONED for ALL TO SEE the 7 that I picked up would have been long gone before I got there

Just to let you all know I had my delivery and all the chocolate had been substituted and PRICEMATCHED!!!!
Not the deal I was expecting but still very very good.

For the mars I got 4 pack full size mars
For the snickers I got 4 pack full size snickers
For the milky way I got 4 pack full size wispa
For the galaxy I got 8 pack standard size dairy milk

All have use by dates for next April

Very happy here
I will be donating some to my local school or their jubilee fete
