What future for Freview repeater transmitters?

Can anyone advise on what future plans (if any) there are to upgrade specific repeater transmitters (as opposed to main transmitters, for which it's easy to find this info)?

Reason I ask is if I do a postcode search I get told that my best one is a main transmitter over 20 miles away.

However, it seems that the local repeater - which I can see from my house - is not as I assumed going to be switched off and has in fact already switched over. The signal strength is so good that a small directional indoor aerial will pick it up - whichever way it's pointed!

The bad part about it is that it only transmits a subset of muxes. What I'd like to find out is whether there is any plan to upgrade specific repeaters to provide all channels, or whether that's never going to happen.

Anyone know if this info is published anywhere?

No, I'm fine with Freeview - just need a huge aerial high up on the roof (waving about in the high winds rather alarmingly at the moment) to pick up the main transmitter.

With a bit of luck I'll be able to move it inside the roof when they turn the power up, but signal is too weak for that right now...
