Halifax Online ISA

I have applied for a Halifax Online ISA as a new customer. I remember being asked to register for Online banking and putting in a password. Don't remember anything about username though.

I have since received confirmation of the account being opened via email. This has my account sort code and number. However still no info on username.

Do they send the username through the post?

I seem to remember getting mine through the post but it was a long time ago.

Just applied for one for my Dad on Sunday. Online help desk say it should be sent out in the post within 3-5 days.

It's often very muddly like this. You'll probably have to call them about it -- that very often seems to be the case with Halifax.
No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.

You could try going to https://www.halifax-online.co.uk and clicking on "Forgotten your username" You'll need name, date of birth and sortcode/account number.

My Dad got his user ID today in the post so that's what should be happening with yours.
