Vodafone compensation

Hi, I am in Ireland rep. I joined Vodafone in February for home phone and Internet. After a long wait I got a text saying the phone line is setup. It wasn´t working at all and it took a few weeks to get it sorted. Then the internet had to be sorted. So for about a month of trying to get the internet sorted the phone line went back off. The phone was then off for a week or two. I got a phone call from an Eircom engineer (same as BT) saying the phone should be back on soon, so I asked him, what about the internet? He said, it is not possible to get internet where I live as it is too far away from the exchange and there is no line.
So what compensation should I accept from Vodafone considering the fact I have a contract for internet and have already been charged?
They have offered me 10€ off for four months = 40€ I think this is not reasonable considering I had to travel to my parents house to phone their technical department, many many times.
Thanks for any advice.
Colin.
