I ordered direct from the website and my money was taken straight away (30/03/12) £25. I was advised by email that my delivery will be no later than 12/04/12 - guess what?????? NO DELIVERY.
I have emailed twice (no reply) and telephoned them. I was advised that they are having a problem with their warehouse in Germany. The telephone consultant advised that she would email me with an update - guess what - no reply!!!
I have emailed again, nothing yet!!
It wasn't until I googled the question "are Vie at Home in liquidation" that I found your comments. I have just sent an enquiry to Watchdog, so I guess it's now a case of wait and see.
I am VERY frustrated that they have had my money for so long & even when I telephoned them, the staff did NOT mention any problems.0 -
If you paid by credit or debit card contact your bank/card provider as they may be able to refund you. I have a customer who has had a refund from her credit card company. I've tried to get a refund for money paid via debit card but my bank need a letter from the Administrators confirming the order won't arrive. The letter I have from the Administrators states that Vie at Home (or rather NWA, the company that owns the brand) intend to honour any outstanding orders. They can't give me a timescale and can't provide any contact details for anyone who can give more info on the deliveries. So far there doesn't seem to have been any orders received and I'm losing faith by the day.
Nobody seems to be helping and I've hit a brick wall, Citizen's Advice said go to your bank, the bank said go to Administrators and Administrators can't help! I have customers who have paid me cash in good faith, in turn I have paid Vie at Home so it's not even as if I have their cash sitting in my account and I can just refund them. I can't afford to personally refund my customers. If someone could guarantee a date when the order will arrive I might be able to arrange something and just sell the goods on when they arrive but I feel like I'm in limbo.
Managers have been told the orders will arrive but they were meant to start arriving from Tuesday onwards but nothing seems to be happening!0 -
I paid via debit card, so I doubt if the bank will help.
Do you have details of the administrator etc.

Just to let you know I received 2 out of my 3 orders this morning and I'm hoping the 3rd will arrive in the next couple of days.
Never thought this day would come!0
