Also I have read some information about 'drip feeding' into an ISA. Once I have put in the initial £2000 should I be drip feeding the account every month or waiting until I can make another larger deposit?
Dripfeeding / "parking" your money in a normal savings account would only be better if- there is a limit on how often you can pay into your ISA (unlikely, if you choose an instant access ISA)
- you have reached your annual ISA allowance
- a savings account pays you better interest, after tax, than your ISA (unlikely, unless you choose a really bad ISA)
