when you put the wine in your basket it wont show the 25% discount but it will be taken off the invoice the delivery driver gives you, hth0 -

This may work, for those interested in small bottles for gifts/hampers:
Black Tower Rivaner Reisling 18.5 cl is £1.58 in A's, or 4 for £5. In T's £1.99 each.
Buy 12, T's £23.88, less 25%, £5.97, cost £17.91.
12 at A's would be £15, so possibly (£23.88-£15.00) £8.88 JTD?
If so, then 12 miniatures for £9.03, £0.75 bottle
I've got 12 this afternoon, and will see how it fares under the price checkerThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
Is there any 3 for £10 offers on their wine at the moment? Wonder if it would work with this offer?0

Per their website, and the OP, only the Silverpoint (2 for £5) is a multibuy at the moment. If there were others they would certainly work (i.e. 25% taken off gross price).
Sadly if it expires on 30th April, the £10 off £80 spend won't apply as well, as that only starts on 1st May. Someone at Tesco has thought this through for a change...
On the mini bottles, last time this 25% off and multibuy offer combined happened, it worked out at 62.5p per mini bottle - well worth it and I duly got a couple of hundred. At 88p a bottle, it is not so convincing - large bottle equivalent of £3.51, which is ciomparable with a lot of other options they are offering (with the 25% taken into account). Again, somebody at Tesco has thought this through.
One thought - has anyone tried the Silverpoint? This should work out at £1.58 (6 bottles = 3 x £5 = £15 -(6 x 3.69 x 25%) = £9.47 for 6 bottles) a bottle, which is exceptionally cheap in anyone's books. Is there a very good reason it is that cheap?0 -

:jSainsburys are also doing thi soffer although i'm not sure if the discount is taken off the same way as Tesco.
Just to mention sainsburys have got wine offers on alongside their 25% off.i.got 6 bottles of banrock chardonnay which is 9.99 or on 3 for 12pound so 6 bottles cost 18. Unfortunately the discount came of the multibuy price not the individual bottle price like tesco.
They also had 9.99 bottles of pinot griogio and a red and 7.99 bottle.on rose on 3 for 12pound.0 -

Excellent
Just been in myself, decided to try the Silver Point Rose, and as expected, £9.47 for the six bottles. Hope I live through its consumption... Mind you , I won't be drinking it, wifey drinks Rose, and I wish her well with it, at £1.60 a bottle...:rotfl:
Had a careful look, and could see no other multi-buys (3 for £10 etc) - just the Silver Point.
That till spit thing is excellent - just got mine, and confirmed. Very good as it gives a day for the 25% off the wine (subject to stock, always a risk...) but also I noticed they're doing 24 cans of Stella for £15, which is good as it has been in a long time - expiry date 1st May, so two full days to get that. Appears to be instore only, as I don't see it online.
Very pleased, as I was not planning to use the in-store £10 voucher, as I really don't need another £80 worth of groceries (as I will be spending £80 online to get THAT £10 off...)
But I can certainly manage £80 of wine and beer instore...
Complicated, and takes some planning, innit?:D0 -
Decisions decisions....I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!
Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A0
