    ................

    12 * Jacobs Creek Shiraz 18.7cl on the 2 for £3 offer (£2.49 each)

    Price = 12*£2.49 - £29.88
    - £11.88 2 for £3 discount
    -£7.47 wine discount 25%
    =£10.53 for 12 mini bottles :beer:

    .................

    At 4 mini bottles to the normal 75cl bottle (4 x 18.7 = 74.8cl) that's 3 bottles for £10.53

    Currently ASDA have several dozen bottles of wine (including some sparkling and up to £5.98 a bottle) available under a 3 for £10 offer

    So unless the packaging is of particular interest .......

    Or you are a lightweight like me and find after pregnancy yet again you can't drink wine freely and one of the little bottles leaves you tipsy :o

    It's only better value if you are going to be able to drink it and not have to waste most of the bottle

    Just because you've opened a bottle doesn't mean you have to drink it all in one go :rotfl:

    it will keep for a week or so in the fridge you know :D

    Am I right in thinking this works with the meal deals too if you buy in multiples of 6?

    yes it does, it takes the 25% off the original price of the wine.

    you dont have to buy 6 meal deals either if you dont want that many, just make up the number of bottles to 6. I sometimes just get 2 meal deals then add in 4 of the 2 for £3 mini bottles.

    It always has done in the past but if you did not want to spend the £60 you could buy 3 meal deals and 3 of the mini bottles that are normally on offer for £5. Just need someone to point me in the direction of a meal deal wine that jtd's please.
