Ridiculous generalisation considering there are countless brands in Tesco, some of very high quality.

    Not ridiculous at all.

My favourite supplier is naked wines and the bottles I buy for around £5 -£6 you would have to spend double in Tesco to get the same quality !

I had a delivery of two cases of wine from Mr T a day or so ago. Actually, it wasn't Mr T who cam in his van, it was Mr T's sub-contractor in a Non-Tesco white van doing the delivery.

    No Delivery Note...!!

The driver, a European guy, just asked me to 'plastic pen sign' on the space on his little black box.

"Are you sure there isn't a Delivery Note?" I asked him.

    "No mate."

I went in on Monday last week at around 1900 - no signs up but this is usually the way as they take one promo down and start another. Wasn't impressed to only get 5% off. Went to CS and they said it had been taken off that morning.

I emailed head office customer service and had a very defensive phone call saying 'we can take an offer off at any time'. Once I had cut through this and explained that whilst I agreed they could, to do it part way through a day was confusing for customers and sort of defeated the object of having promotions and offers if customers couldn't have any faith in them being there later the same day!

I ended up with agreement and understanding, and a £5 money card (like a Tesco gift card).

Hoped for the value of my expected savings, £12 - nearer £15 I should have had off instead of £3 - so still feel a bit cheated.

Note CS wouldn't give DtD as all the posters were down.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused
