Looking at the parts link to ebay they appear to have the same system as the old Freelander and it's a common fault with those too.
It's as easy as fitting a brake cable on a bike but take some photos of where the outer sleeves fit because on the Freelander there is a choice of places where they fit and if you put one in the wrong place you can't get the last one in.0
