Enquiry with Lloyds Bank re PPI

I was definitely covered enough to ensure I could still pay any loan repayments if I lost my job, which was highly unlikely considering where I worked.
Actually PHI, Critical Illness and Life Assurance do not pay out if you lose your job.
And believe it or not university and NHS staff DO lose their jobs from time to time.0 -
I received my letter from Lloyds on Saturday to say they have received my complaint, so just have to wait and see now.0

I made my complaint via a phone call to lloyds, didnt even have an account number for the two loans that were paid off in 2007, they found the information for me and initiated the complaint, i did nothing else. I too worked as a nurse for the NHS for many years with the usual benefits of sick pay etc which was one of the reasons for claiming back my ppi, my complaints were upheld and i received a payout of over 12.000 approx 8 weeks after receiving the letter you got today, good luck.0 -

Hi CURRC,
I had a phone call out of the blue on Monday (4 weeks from initial call to complain) from one of the LLoyds PPI team asking me some questions. I had sent them FOS questionnaires for each loan the previous week, which she knew nothing about as they hadn't even scanned them onto my file. Luckily I had my laptop open and all my paperwork to hand, so I could give them an accurate picture. The lady was pleasant and said I would receive a result within 4 weeks. Fingers crossed..!!!
Fingers crossed for you too0 -

Well done, that's FAB. I hope I'm as fortunate0 -

True, however they far prefer to redeploy people than make them redundant, so they don't have to pay the actually rather generous reduncy package. They don't mind !!!!ing money away elsewhere just so long as it doesn't benefit service users or "front-line" staff.:www: Progress Report :www:
Offer accepted: £107'000

Sent my SAR letter off yesterday. Has anyone had any success in claiming back for things like Dorothy Perkins card etc?0

Since starting the reclaiming process I've had a couple of calls from companies trying to get me to claim through them. When I've told them I'm already in the process of claiming both have asked how far through I am with the claim, I told both it had nothing to do with them and was accused of being rude then hung up on.
Still no news from the bank though, just have to keep my fingers crossed.0 -
I had 3 phone calls from Lloyds bank last week firstly asking for start dates for my Life Insurance, Critical Illness and Income Protection Plan and then asking when I started work at the University. Both the man and woman I spoke to said they were finalising my claim and I should have the result before the end of June at the latest but probably earlier as they were already dealing with it, keep your fingers crossed.
I then had a letter earlier this week asking for my signature so that they could send out all the info relating to my SAR request, or if I'd like to pick it up at a bank of my choice. I've returned the signed form so hopefully this won't take too long to be sent out.0
