You need to tell your gran I think, and she needs to tell the bank to not authorise payment to this organisation , there is no point hoping as it will happen reading the comments above. If they take the the payment from her it's unauthorised and she should do a chargeback.

And please try one of the gambling charities , here is a link to one below. You need to get to the root of why you gamble to sort this out.

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

I guess i need to tell her really. she is not going to be happy with me at all.
If they do take the money from her i can just give it her back.
I didnt mention anything about a gambling addiction. I like to play a bit of roulette but other than that i never spend more than i can afford to lose and i didnt borrow to gamble.

    Good morning.

I have spoken to my bank last night, they said that they would not allow the pdl to come out of my savings account because they don't have these details or authority. They even advised canceling my card, but I need to access my funds somehow over the weekend and with no branch's open I can't do this.
Another email sent to pay day express this morning. Not holding my breath for a response though.
Still massively worried that they will take the money from my gran.

Hi, no one has said that the pdl company will take the money from your savings,as of course, they don't have the account details.
What we have said is that IF the pdl company take the money from your current account, leaving you with 0 balance or an unauthorised overdraft, the BANK have the authority to move the money from your savings to your current account to cover the deficit.
    Warn your gran.
    Talk to the pdl companies.

Just wanted to say about your fee paying dmp company...i was with a fee paying company for 3 years before finding this wonderful website...i called one of the free dmp companys (payplan in my case) all it took was one phone call and they took over the payments that month, it ment more money went to my creditors and if i had done it sooner i would have been debt free over 2 years earlier....it really is so easy to swap over my creditors didnt even know i had swapped as no payments missed to them, the first they knew about it was the fact they were getting alot more money a month...i have been with the free dmp company now for 5 years and will be debt free in 4 months...do it its just one call!
Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST

Yes, *please* change your DMP over to a free company. Why should a different company get your money when it could be going towards your debt (or into your pocket)? x

Just spoke to kensington who have said that pay day express are on board. strange how i send them emails and call but never get a response and they do pretty much straight away.
Just waiting for wonga to accept now and they will chase for that, and with my account being on hold and knowing im on a dmp it shoudlnt be an issue. I've read wonga usually take on dmps.

as for changing dmp, Im still happy for kensington to deal with my account, i know its a fee charging service but im paying £100 a month and will be debt free by the middle of next year.
to be honest i did fill out the payplan form online but i dont think im going to go ahead with it, my debts are no where near £5000 and personally transfering would eb more hassle than whats its worth. Thankyou for the advice though and i appreciate the help.

kensington said i have done the best thing by transfering my wages into my savings because they have accpeted some clients and been making payments for pdl's just take the money out of accounts anyway. And with the word of the bank not letting them enter my saings i think everything is going to be a ok

Im also transfering my wages into my mums account from my savings on friday morning so nothing will be in my rbs account at all.

Will definetly keep you all updated though, probally friday morning to let you all know if the ***t hits the fan

It's because there are two threads concerning PD laons that were posted the same day. The other poster has a gambling addiction but not this poster. I almost mixed the two up myself:o

  • Having read this thread, and having recently paid a debt, that I didn't know about, with my credit card to a debt collection company - I have just ordered a new credit card just in case there may be other debts I don't know about. Unbelievable how insecure these credit cards seem to be - just verbally handing over some details and then they have complete access to your credit. Incredible.

    Totally agree with you bailey.

One payment and they have your details.

Also got home last night to a letter from safeloan, which i cant remember taking out and they are threating a ccj. rang my DMP and said they would add it on as well, but they do not seem to be helping. Safeloans want to see my p45???

If im honest im a bit nervous about waking up tomorrow and not having any money on payday... even though i have been told by the bank they cant take it out my savings.
