Was this a stupid move???

I got rid of SKY & went to Virgin with sports & movies. Now with sky i could watch sports on my laptop when im away on sky iplayer and all the other channels. Thought Virgin have the same but seems not!!! Anyway i can do this???!!! I will cancal Virgin if i cant... thou might get rid of sports and pay my m8 a tenner each month and use his sky account which he have offered.. he dosnt use it when he goes aways so a spare slot to add my devices.

    A tenner!! Any half decent mate would let you watch for free, no skin off their nose. To answer the initial question IMHO yes. :D

    How are you going to cancel VM now you are in a 12 or 18m minimum term contract? There will be a huge ETC to pay.

    Yes gather that after phoneiong them up.... i cancal sports thou as they said i cant watch it on another PC if i go away.... I offered tenner as i get to watch any off his channels he has...

    As others have noted, your expectation was wrong - they never promised what you expected them to provide, so are not deficient in any way. If truth be told, it is probably Sky who are preventing a competitor to offer enhanced access to their services (have you noticed there's no Sky Atlantic?)

    You can terminate, but as it was your error, you'll pay dearly to leave early and if you don't your credit file will be trashed automatically. It's a sobering thought
