    Hi
I've just been into T's and bought 12x330ml bottles of carling zest for £6 it tastes like lager and lime and Tuburg at £5.99. But there was nothing else of interest:( apart from sild at 32p:)

Cici-K congratulations on your news:jMyMerryWidow hope you are feeling better.
I hope everyone else has had a good day.

    Good morning everyone

Its been a while since ive been on here, I was visiting family in Sydney for 4 weeks. Loved having the sun out everyday. While out there, i found i was pregnant :) We were planning to have ivf in a few months. SO we are over the moon. I have a scan on monday to see if the baby is fine, very nervous and scared.

Im desperately trying to catch up, im on the hunt for the socks. I did manage to find the brunch bars yesterday in an extra for 40p. Thanks to the op. Missed you all and hunting the bargains.

That is lovely news. Congratulations to you both. :T:T:T:T

I bought the discovery packs :j and grape juice and three packs of strawberries.

Now the customer service person (note: I have used him a few times for DTD's and he's been completely cool about it!)
CS: why didn't you notice the total!:eek::eek::eek:
ME: Well I was paying my card and was using vouchers and didn't notice.
CS: *said something and hands me £6  in cash*
ME: Hang on a minute:D shouldn't that me £12, overcharge.
CS: No you said you were happy to pay the price they should have been.
    ME: No I didn't:mad:
CS: Do you want me to get the manager, as we know what you're up to:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
ME: Yes! Excuse me but are you accusing me of something!
CS: *Goes of to phone manager*
CS: Okay I'll give it to you this one time, but we know what you're up to alright. Why won't you take the £6!
ME: You just said I was going to get the rest!!
CS: I'll put the rest on you're card.
ME: Well you're mistake for giving me £6 cash!!
    CS: YES MY MISTAKE!:eek::eek::mad:
    ME: *Puts card in*
ME: Mark I'll remember that name.
Another CS person: Is everything okay?
ME: no you have been overcharging people all day on these strawberries! (I had enough!)
CS: Well they should check their receipt! And yes I'm called MARK!
CS: *goes of to check the shelf/remove product*
ME: Great Customer service by the way!!!!
CS: No problem. (Note we were both in each others face and medium volume shouting:eek::eek:)
    ME: Have a lovely day!!

    :eek::eek::eek: Talk about stressful :(

Might send an email. So angry! Luckily there wasn't a queue or else I would have been embarrassed.

LTF please please don't take this the wrong way but I've read many posts about you claiming dtd and it has concerned me before. Don't get me wrong, yes it is a policy constructed by T's but no matter how much we slate T's, it is a VERY generous policy and is there as an appology to customers, obviously not designed to be abused. Yes many of us do it but you have to be very selective about what you get, how you get it, who's on CS, whether it's your local that you frequent for regular shopping, whoopsies and glitches etc.

I know that I'm paranoid, perhaps some would say overly paranoid but I know that if I ran into a situation like this I would never want to go in the store again. For that reason I have only ever had 3 dtds in the last year in my local, one of which was only very small on pickled onions. I'm not angry, more so concerned about you raising your profile and running the risk as you say, of a store ban. It's very, VERY easy to take things a bit too far when you're faced with the chance of free goods and I would suggest that every one of us on here have out outrselves in compromising positions before wondering whether we could just get away with one more thing, whether it be 1p items, dtds, glitches....

I'm sorry if people disagree and please please LTF don't take it as a personal attack.

I really hope you're ok LTF and feeling a little calmer after spilling the beans :A:A

Also one more thing, remember we said about using clubcards befpre, well I know it's not AS traceable, but there is probably a way they can trace the refunds onto a particular debit/credit card too.

I'm so sorry if this has made you feel worse. I really and truly am on your side and just don't want you to end up in an even worse scenario.

Hello..... its been quite a while since I was here!! I increased my hours at work a few months ago, which DRASTICALLY reduced my Mr T time :eek: so I couldnt bear to see all the bargains I was missing :(:(

I've just come in & read back about 10 pages, and realised how much I missed all the lovely chat!! I really will try & pop back in more often, and try and catch at least some of the bargains :rotfl:

Could a nice kind soul just update me re socks, & whatever else is current? Am finishing work early tomorrow & heading to Mr T so fingers crossed for bargains :o

Have to agree with Fudge_Cake LTF, I am very selective with my DTDs as I only have one Tesco I can use! With my last one the SA first offered to refund and charge the offer price, I said I thought it was meant to be DTD and she said she would have to call the duty manager as it was over £20 and apparently there is a "scam" going round whereby people target products for DTD! As if!!

You did a load of betteries earlier too didn't you?

CS KNOW who we are and what we do. Time to cool it imo if you don't want a store ban.

I shall be back in a little while, off to T's to try my luck :D List updated and at the ready! Shall pop in A's on the way back and check for whoopsies but recently hoards of folk are descending at whoopsie o'clock and it's making it very hard to find things, though I did manage a £6 sage and onion whole chicken for 10p last night :D Which is currently roasting in the oven to be had with whoopsied maris pipers (16p for 5kg!) mashed with whoopsied Lurpak (30p for 1kg) glitched Cathedral city and a splash of milk (10p 6pts) and a fried egg from our hens on the side with homemade bread and butter :D (Was gonna do a roast but ran out of whoopsied veg lol!)

Miss Laid your haul is fabulous as usual! :D Well done!

I have caught up on today and have my list ready for another epic post later. Have a great evening and I'll be back in a mo, hopefully with some bargains to boot :)

Westie and Lutzi.....PMs coming your way later, so sorry for the delay! :( xxx
