Can I ask how you all manage to get your wombles added without being outright accused of lying?

My local does not have an enormous amount of staff who work on CS and I have felt sure whenever I have considered having wombles added that they would do perhaps 2 throughout the week then by the third they would know

Who really shops numerous times every day and forgets to use their clubcard every time

I get my cc points added when I go into Expresses because theirs far more of them about and your far less conspicuos;)

Well I've been out to Mr T's and I'm feeling rather smug.....:D

A local store to me is known for being awful when accepting coupons, last time I tried to use one I was shouted at in front of customers and accused of photocopying coupons! :(
I don't often use coupons, only when it's something I use or will use so it's not as if I'm regularly in there couponing away and I have never photocopied coupons!
Anyway, after the last time and being told only safe coupons can be used I had had enough so I emailed Head office and asked on the policy of coupon acceptance and if it differed from store to store....

Eventually I had a response, all internet coupons are accepted as long as the item is purchased, this applies to all stores and if I have a problem then contact this person again.

So off I went to use my Domestos coupon... oh suprise suprise, frowned upon and told that no I can't use it.... showed them the email on my phone and to be fair they couldn't have been nicer, they said that they wish head office would pass the information down to them so that they were aware of this!

Is it bad that I am now itching to use another non safe coupon at another local where the Wicked Witch of the West resides on the SSS till scowling every time I produce a coupon even if it is Mr T's own?

She really is a cowbag, she looks me up and down and my OH everytime I get booze, she knows us by now as it's only a tiny store she just does it to be a muppet! She snatches vouchers out of your hand if she sees them before you get to put them in. It's not as if I am known to the store for anything, I've never had DTD, used loads of coupons etc the only thing she hates is I got a load of 1p (30 odd) TPOs a while back but was too later for her as I'd paid! :p

Anyway, enough of my babbling, I'm going to try and forget about the other non safe voucher burning a hole in my pocket! I've promised the OH if I use it there I will do it when I am on my own! :rotfl:

ohh, and lots of Love Hearts and Candy Canes in one of my locals if anyone is floating around, and a huge bin full of Blu Tac packs for 40 something p

    Off to catch up now...

;)Hiya guys, will be back when I catch up but can anyone tell me the best way to get cheap calls in America please? My Big Sis just text to ask me and I knew someone on here would know as several of you go to the US of A on holiday ;) she has a Blackberry by the way

    Many thanks in advance

If you google "cheap calls" a number of websites come up. You then need to look up the country and wether its a "landline to mobile" or "landline to landline" etc. You then get an access code to ring and this you ring before you ring the country code and the persons number.

I ring eldest son in Cyprus a couple of times a month. using the access code costs about 12 or 15p wether or not you get connected. Last time I got through straight away though which was good. Calls then cost me 2p per minite so I rattle on for about half an hour.

The one I am using is called ratebuster but there are laods of others eg tele88, phone cheap, planet talk, bestminites, dialwise, dialaround etc.

Also what about skype - I think you can get skype on mobile devises as well as laptops and computers, I lnow there is a version for ipads

Sorry for quoting myself but I didn't phrase my question right :o:o thanks for the reply and the pm from Fourp but what I meant was using her mobile to make calls back to UK while on holiday in USA :o She is wondering whether she buys a sim over there, can she use it in her Blackberry, or shoould she buy a cheap phone and sim over there? Or, is there a cheaper way of getting calls to UK on her Blackberry

Any more ideas now I have explained it properly please? ;)

Always best to buy a local PAYG SIM card and top it up. But Blackberrys have special tariffs here in the UK, no idea if it's the same in the U.S. If they do she will find certain features won't work and if they do, she might get stung for them.

No Happy it's not just you. I've had them too and given them a short sharp "I don't think so" and hung up.
