A happy new thread Tuesday to All and many thanks to WestV for opening the account .

We had our TPC through at 1;30am , as usual no luck as T's were cheaper (of course) , lots of things they didn't bother comparing for one reason or another
It was an £80 receipt and T's stated they could have done it for a fiver less .
I won't be bothering with any more price checks unless they are sure fire hits (pre planned) , it's just part of the game that I've become bored with .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

Morning everyone! Thanks for the new thread Westie. Don't you just hate it when you have heaps to catch up and then you realise you have no quote button....... a new thread! Ah well, caught up now.

As for the quiz.......

5. $500- Which is not a type of soda?
Your Answer: Sweat

The correct answer was He-Gon. I made up the name He-Gon. Sweat is a popular soft drink in Japan.

Went to Ts yesterday and bought some more Palmolive and used a price check voucher to pay for them. After scrutinising the voucher, checking with the SA behind then calling for a supervisor, the SA eventually put it through. She then apologised and said that there is a 'scammer' with the PC vouchers so they have to be carefull

The Cathedral City had a SEL of £2.75 in my store so don't think it's a glitch. </B>

Hi 4p - I'm thinking the same as you. I put in a £130 wombled receipt last week, expecting a great JTD with some of the items on there. Only £68 was compared, everything else coming back as N/A and saying T were £3 cheaper. Never in a million years.

Ive just checked my yopmail account. Pricecheck came in at 00.50 last night!! Hope others got theirs too.

Forgot to say, happy new thread everyone!

Yes mine came in about 1.40 - a new ploy by T but what for? To see if anyone uses 24 hour stores????

My last lot that I inputted via yopmail never appeared so I put them in again (using the 24 hour clock method) - mind you none of them produced a JTD.

Thanks westie for the shiny new thread. :j
Went t's yesterday nothing much apart from a lonely haribo tangfastic chicks bag of sweets on clip strip 14p and larger bag haribo easter gummies also on clipstrip 25p.
There were some malteser bunies but were still scanning at 50p  doesnt feel to be that much in the little bags so definitely didnt bother with those.
Hope you all have good day.

Morning folks.

Very O/T question but does anyone know where I can buy one of those long handled, litter picking things that you see people using? No, it's not for wombling receipts but to try and rescue a wall clock that has fallen down into a cavity wall:o. Difficult to explain the situation but OH was using a club hammer and chisel to knock a hole through a wall(yes I,ve got her well trained:rotfl:) and the vibrations caused the clock to drop off the wall and down the cavity:eek:. It's just out of reach but I think I could "grabbit" with one of those.

See you later:)
artha, have you tried a wire coat hanger bent to shape (much more MSE!;))

Thanks for the new thread westie!:D
