A happy new thread Tuesday to All and many thanks to WestV for opening the account .

We had our TPC through at 1;30am , as usual no luck as T's were cheaper (of course) , lots of things they didn't bother comparing for one reason or another
It was an £80 receipt and T's stated they could have done it for a fiver less .
I won't be bothering with any more price checks unless they are sure fire hits (pre planned) , it's just part of the game that I've become bored with .

Hi 4p - I'm thinking the same as you. I put in a £130 wombled receipt last week, expecting a great JTD with some of the items on there. Only £68 was compared, everything else coming back as N/A and saying T were £3 cheaper. Never in a million years.

Asda wombling is a much better game :D. Much better odds. 4 supermarkets to compare, the extra 10% margin across the four. With Asda, I find the longer the receipt then generally the more likely a successful APG. Significantly higher number of successful returns and for much higher values :). And you can use as many APG vouchers on a single shop as you can lay your hands on (although lots of Ts don't enforce this rule).

Of course, you do need to have an Asda nearby to play this particular game and there seem to be considerably less A stores than T.

The Cathedral City had a SEL of £2.75 in my store so don't think it's a glitch. </B>
Maybe not a glitch as such but certainly a misprice.
When the single packs were £1 there was an sel for £1 in my store but that was taken off the shelf after a day and the cheese wasn't put out again till that was fixed.

    Morning everyone

    New thread is lovely :D

Scanner in one of the stores I frequent is broken. Is there any way to request it be fixed beyond actually enquiring about it in person, does anyone know?
