No sunshine today
it's raining - off out to walk the dogs
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Tesco have Kleenex wipes £ 2.99 24x6 and on 3 for 2
These presumably should be 2.99 for a pack of 24 not 6 packs of 24.
Tylersmum who posted it questioned is there a dtd claim here?
Now tesco don't sell these in bumper packs just individually but if I go to check out with 18 packs get charged £36. 29.90 over charge.
This is showing online so if I arrange delivery and get charged the higher amount can I then go instore to claim dtd or can this not be done when you accept delivery?
It's all new to me.
You can't get DTD via online orders x0 -

Sadly you don't get DTD when you shop on line, but im sure that they should honour the price on line as long as it still states that price when delivered hth xxx

Morning all. What a brilliant day for pottering. Sunny for the garden and nice and breezy to get the washing dry. Tea loaf is in the oven and all is well with the world! To do is to be. Rousseau

Hi, finally caught up after a few really tiring days.
Welcome back Happy chappie, happy birthday to all who are celebrating (have forgotten who)
Congrats to Tricia on the flat, I hope your move goes well.
Got my furniture delivered on Thrusday but had to wait in longer than I had expected to. Delivery time was 10am but they didn't arrive until after 12pm, at least he phoned to let me know what the hold up was - his helper had been putting the last crate (not mine) on the truck using the forklift and had got out to check it was going on right when it fell off and caught his arm as it fell so they had to wait on an ambulance for him and a replacement helper (ended up with 2 because one was too lazy to get into work so arranged to be picked up by them)
Thankfully it only took them an hour to put everything into the house.
Also had to wait for a carpenter to come and cut out a unit from the kitchen so I could get the cooker wired in place. He arrived minutes after the removal guys left so I thought this is great, getting it all done at once but no, the guy said he was only there to see what was needed for the job!!!!! Someone will be out when they can be bothered but he has upgraded it to urgent
I've been so busy I forgot that I had arranged to get my electric meter changed, wasn't in when they called so now have to rearrange that
Have to arrange for oil to be delivered and the boiler service done, guy arrived to do it only for us both to realise that there's no oil.
Have to get a guy to put the laminate floor put down.
Worst bit about it is that next week I'm so busy that the only day I have free is ThursdaySPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

Morning everyone . Hope you are all well. Got back from Fort William last night after a nightmare holiday as lots of people went down with a terrible bug ! I was one of the lucky ones that didn,t get it , but spent the holiday worried sick that I would, even the doctor got it and we had to leave 3 people behind , then the overnight hotel refused to let us in so ended up having to travel a further 2 hours in the wrong direction to another . Won't forget that holiday in a hurry .
Anything exciting happened while I have been away , far too many pages to catch up on.:)Never pay more than you have too0 -
Morning all
Someone give us a kick up the bum, can't be bothered to get out of bed today
Forgot to report a couple of bits
Alloy wheel brush £2 rtc 50p
Microfiber cloth £1.86 rtc 37p both in T's petrol kiosk
Also possible DTD if you dare:
CS was pointing out to price integrity person while I was stood in cake aisle - cadburies mini rolls are on £2 for 2 for the 6 packs Yellow sel but there is one variety that isn't in the offer so you might be able to wangle DTD as well as using a price flop
Too chicken to try it myself
Right off to sort the trillion jobs that need doing around the house
Mega cheesed off that my washing machine has stretched the boys school jumpers to nearly 5 * normal!!!!!!!!! Same wash that I always use 30 degrees((

Morning all
It's a beautiful day here and it's Rogation Sunday which means walking the village boundary then tea and cakes. They're coming to us so had to rush into Ts to get stuff.
Cakes went through fine and did two freezer coupons including Finest mince meat ice cream RTC 87p. Took the last 5, hope it's not too horrible:o
Off to do the quiz and then get ready. Many thanks to Snap ant for the quiz - sometimes the questions are a bit mad (or maybe it's my answers!) but I love it.:T
Have a good day all.0
