Going to make sure all stuff in chest freezer is packed as well as it can be then I know how much frozen stuff I can buy I think the coupon from the pf before was better but I couldn't get anything else in the freezer at the time but we have managed to eat our way through some whoopsies so will be visiting Ts sometime today. Daughter needs new trainers so we are shoe shopping as well which I hate but it has to be done.

Not quite sure where to post this as its b.. all to do with Tesco! so please move as needed.

It was DH's birthday this week and he got an email from Pizza Express giving him a code for a free Birthday bottle of wine when 2 mains are purchased. Nice wine too - we had the Sicilian one (£13.xxx odd a bottle). Anyway, you can't use it with other offers such as Tesco quads. but it worked a treat with a couple of the £5 gift cards that I got with the Mail promotion. I suppose it might be OK with the Mail 2 course Meal Deal depending on the staff. We had 2 big pizzas and wine for just over £9 in hard cash after the gift cards.

He must have been on their database from when I registered us both for an Orange Wednesday 2 4 1 meal deal so hopefully I'll get one as well. I gather they have only just staerted doing this. Could we worth registering with them.

Good morning everyone, it is a lovely sunny day here. Got pretty cold last night though, glad I covered up my tomatoes! Plan to do a bit of gardening today, those pesky weeds are growing way too fast.

Also have to get a bit of housework done so I don't have to rush around like a mad thing before OH leaves hospital! Probably just be rushing around like a double mad thing today instead! Not sure when he's coming home yet, could be Tuesday, might be Wednesday, may find out tomorrow or Tuesday. Either way I shall be a very happy bunny :j:j

Morning. Hope everyone is well, another gorgeous day here:D
Mum and dad are visiting me for a week whilst OH is on a golfing holiday so I took mum to T last night. Thought I'd stock up on cake bars, wench juice and socks at least and show her what to do. Oh my god, we got there at 830pm and what a fab time to go. Whoopsie and womble heaven!!!!

I got £48 worth of meat, fruit, veg and bread for the grand total of £8. Could not believe it. Barely anyone else around and loads available. Dad was laughing his head off at me when we put our "spread" on the table to unpack. Am totally chuffed :j
Got another 3 socks - they keep re socking and I think it's only me buying! And finally, got 3 jars of 20p marmalade (in with the normal marmalade) thanks to miss laid for her pic from fri I knew what I was looking for.

DS having a lie in it seems so off to wake him now xx
