Morning all - lovely sunny day here.

Off on the train to see OH again today, hopefully will be allowed out of hospital by Wednesday, he's up on crutches come Monday :T

As for doctors and nurses, I personally think they are WONDERFUL. It is the administrators I have a problem with, his op was supposed to happen on Feb 8th. We got up there (70 miles trip) for 7 am, only to be told (after a good hour plus, if my DDs car hadn't had problems on the way we would probably have been home, but that is another story!) that his haemoglobin level needed to be a lot lower than it was and it would have to be postponed. The admin side of the hospital had not told the plastic surgeon  So we had to wait another 3 months

I used to work in a supermarket, ended up with queues a mile long because I liked making people laugh when they came through my till! Also did the same when I was working in the local shop a while back, there was only ONE person I could not persuade to smile, and I don't think anyone could make her smile!!

Without shop workers, where would we buy all the stuff we need NOW!!!

  • Miss Laid how on earth do you do it?!
Are you actually the manager of your local T's and you just hoard all this stuff out back and then take it home?! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Wish I had a T's like yours near me! :D

Home at last, and I can now tell you all where I have been. Just spent a week in Turkey. 2 years ago I set up a FB page to free 2 dolphins that were in a pool smaller than a tennis court. It has been a long journey. On Thursday I was very privileged to see Tom and Misha swim to freedom, back to the blue.
    This is the back story.

Just catching up, am sat here in tears, that is such a wonderful thing to read, you must be so proud to have been part of it!!
Well done to you and all involved :T

Hi - MMW need your help if you are online please.

Just had one of those "ouch" posts on the Red Spotted Hanky thread because I credited you but didn't link your post which linked to the HUKD post. As you know, I do usually always link, but wasn't sure in this case because of a possible influx into the thread. More than happy to do so now if you think it is the right thing to do?

BLUEWKD, if you are lurking as I think you sometimes do here, then the post is 6653 earlier on this thread :)
