I know what its like we was evacuated last week due to fears of the river nene bursting its bank, luckily it didnt, but my garden and the fields are still flooded, we did have 50mm forecast for today but only had showers . Hope you are safe

ooh forgot to mention braved buying the socks and dressing gowns in a store with no scanner and no SS:A:A:A:A

picked an SA who has served me before with a few 1p items in the same store although the majority of trouts know and hate me in that store. Asked her to do me a pricecheck on the milkyway funsize pack -scanned at 2.75:eek: she said -that'll be too expensive for you, you like your bargains don't you:eek::eek:

Then used the old chat and distract technique but too late she had noticed the dressing gowns scan at 4p. I feigned suprise and as she let me pack it. I said - there was one more i might go and get that too? She replied- go on then:T:T:T:T at which she scanned the socks and said these are 4p too, do you want to see if there are any more of these :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I ran off and got the last 2 socks which i had hidden in case it went pear shaped and the other dressing gown. Lady behind me had her mouth open and said -Can you tell me when you come shopping next time I'll be joining you. So I gave her a pair of socks:A:A:A:A

Such a lovely SA made my day:):):)

Had my dress fitting today, only one more to go.

Bought my wedding ring from H Sam, and have had nothing but problems. It was due in on the 4th May and now they phone me to tell me it's not due in until 29th May. (5 days before the wedding). :mad::mad:

Hi everybody, I did manage to get a few things reduced, peppers, plums 2 melons, 2 pkts of organic roles, loaf of bread, and crisps all with %75 off .

I also got some betty crocker pancake mix reduce to 39p might be worth looking in your local Mr s for these.
