Just a quick question to you Mr T experts. I bought three pizzas on offer (BOG2F) they were woopsies, but there was a hand written sign saying BOG2F still applies.

The bill seemd higer than I thought but the SA assured me the offer had been applied. Had a better look at the reciept when I got home, and although it has applied a pizzs discount it was not for the right price.

I was passing today and popped in with my reciept, assuming i would get the difference back (DTD if I was lucky) however CS asked if I had bought the packaging with me, as they could not issue a refund without packaging, is that correct?

I showed them the pizzas in store, but she said that was no good as the woopsied price did would not tally with them as these had not been reduced.

Is it usual to have to present the product or packaging for a DTD (I thought a reciept would be enough as it clearly shows the discount and single price for them to work it out)

    I left empty

Just catching up as not been around since yesterday morning. Just wanted to say I am in your club brand8 not one pair :(. I may have to try further afield, just got to justify whether the extra fuel is worth it.
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:
  • Don't usually post much but just had to log in to say many thanks to snap-ant for the post about the Portmeirion plate sale on the Grabbit thread - I took the plunge and ordered 4 pasta bowls and 4 of the smaller plates in the lilac design and they arrived this morning, incredibly well packed (so much bubble wrap!)and so lovely that I really can't tell why they are seconds.

The only "defects" that I can find are that the base stamp on a couple of the plates is a bit faded and one plate has a couple of very small black lines on the base, but other than that I can't see what is wrong with them - they are stunning! The actual design part of the plates is perfect.

The only problem is - I can see that I might be adding to my collection soon!

Thanks again and also thanks for carrying on with the quiz as well - I really love doing it every day!

On another subject am I the only member of this forum who is not looking forward to the Vile Mouthed H.C returning to the fold I am sure his rants will continue perhaps 3 strikes and your out for good would be a good idea But problem is he could re register under another name and carryon.

Hi bcw , it's a shame that you've let down quite a few posters with this outburst . Those that are past , those who are present and of course The Lurks .
Others have stated today that they've defended you in the past and with this you've lost their respect .
Crikes I've even spoken up for you in the past , and there was another MSE'r less than 10 days ago who couldn't find anything wrong with your posts (even tho' 16 are missing) , they even went to the trouble to skim read them all

Shall we put it another way to you .

Morning peeps, Too tired to post last night, so thought I'd pop on for a quick catchup this morning, (well it's morning here!). I mentioned to a friend here that I missed going to the gym while I was here, and with all the lovely cocktails, bacon butties (sorry FK), patties, and choc bought from home, together with lots of lazy beach days, my weightloss was going to go down hill fast. Got a lovely surprise yesterday when she phoned to tell me she'd booked me in to the local gym that she goes to for the next 2 weeks. I went for the first time today, and it is really fab. So no excuse now to put on weight. My SW lady will be delighted.
Have some piccies for you. First one is last nights sunset taken from the garden. Next two are of the beach we went to yesterday. Taken standing in the middle of the beach, looking both ways.

    You paying attention zippydooda? :D

Hope you all have a lovely day. Don't scoff too much 1p choccie. I'm really jealous, a medium bar of CDM is the equivalent of nearly £4 here, so won't be buying any even if the stash I brought with me runs out!(unlikely to tho:p:rotfl:).
Luv 'n' hugs to all that need them.
PS once again, please let me know if pics are too big, will resize and repost if necessary.
