    afternoon guys and gals :)

    happy birthday ladies :)

When i went to Ts yesterday to get my glasses...there were shelves full of the Easter stuff (literally hundreds of the Cadburys splats)....didnt scan any as didnt think it would be reduced yet....then hours later and we find out theyre 1p....

so this morning I go to the same store to pick up my glasses....and no Easter stuff at all :( Now call me cynical, but I dont believe this is down to lurkers....the shelves had been magically restocked with a load of 'new' chocolate varieties.

The store is always 'clean'....almost never partakes in glitches, rarely has anything to DTD on.....and now the staff not only read on here, but work through the night to ensure every last trace of a 1p item is removed. The job centre opposite is full of Wombles looking for work as the carpark is spotless.

I have a few other Ts I visit, but this one is the nearest...blooming typical :)

No wench juice......but they did have the magazines! Cruel lot. But considering the size of my local I'm not at all surprised.

Did get some more cakes (other half is warning me not to get many more as the newly designated 'naughty shelf' is jam packed.....I'm a bit deaf though).

I know how you feel looby - have the same problem with my local store and I can't get to other stores. I have only ever had one womble (but it was worth £1.71), it is a rarity to get DTDs (my planned one this week was upset by an extended date!!). But I did manage 3 packs of the thorntons wishes, and even managed some veg crisps earlier this week, so it worth keeping it up!

My nearest Tesco is like this too - way too clean and tidy. And the clearance section consists of lots of damaged tins etc etc, no proper bargains!
