Magicowen, there are some lovely places just outside Bridgend but you will need a car.

    Google the following:

    Ystradfellte Falls
    Bryngarw Country Park
    Margam Park

I think it is amazing from your posts how Alan is coping. I have to keep on to mum to have a lie down and nap each day, I'm getting quite good at it if you need me to remind Alan from time to time. ;)

Just caught up and read your fantastic news about the car, that is so quick and brilliant you will be able to get to see your friends. :T

Alan doesn't need any reminding to have a nap - he just goes all sleepy and HAS TO go to bed ;)

  • OMG.

trout from hell today. i saw some ood sels for fruit shoots 2 for£4.50 and robisons 1.75 ltr squash 2for £6. so i got 4 lots of robisons and 2 lots of fruit shoot.

the discount didnt come off but i didnt check the price i paid. after the trout (and me) checked the label, yes it was ood but the price is now £2 for the fruit shoots and £2 for the robisons. so cheaper than the sels. the trout then started to say i havent paid enough money and worked out how much extra i should pay.:eek: i asked her where does it say on your policy board that if i have been UNDER charged i should have to pay more.?

the manager came over, apoligised to me, and sent me on my way.

Sorry that did have me chortling!

I'm disappointed. The comic character hasn't even got a cape, never mind a novel hat :D

I haven't caught up completely yet but this did catch my eye :eek: No cape, in this weather   He must have super-human abilities ........ and don't worry about the hat JJ, the top hat with donkee and sheep will do just nicely with that outfit :rotfl: :rotfl:

Off out now, got appointment with Palliative Care Consultant at 2.30pm - back later :D
