Good morning all. Another quiet morning here, all on my lonesome. DD is round her boyfriends and OH is still in hospital. He's doing well though, all the drains and drips are out, he has now got to start danging his foot off the bed - started at 30 seconds yesterday building up to 5 minutes on Monday, then standing up if all goes well. When he can put half his weight on his foot he can come home :T:T

Happy birthday to those that have mentioned it and to those that have kept quiet about it!

good evening all.. hope everyone is well

dont give up on the socks...after several failures at getting the 4p socks finally today new stock being put on shelfs as soon as the assistant left they went in my trolley..:j throw them in basket to go through ss last one scanned then sa behind my shoulder "not sure i can sell you those " i think i need a supervisor i quickly stuck my £1 coin in and said i have already paid for them so they are mine he stood there not sure what to do I just smiled said Bye then legged it out of the shop my heart going quickly i felt sure i was going to get stopped how do you all cope with the stress

then i had to go back in to get my proper shopping my daughter got stopped using more than 1 cake voucher the supervisor said we can buy as many on bogof with vouchers as we like but put them all through seperately so between 3 of us we put 12 lots of cakes through

I love it:T:T:TI do exactly the same, I have my money ready in my hand to pay and chuck it in so quick. Some of my T's don't have the slots for coins they have the slope things that you put your money down and it takes a while to register, so I wiggle it about to make it register a bit quicker;)

Sorry forget to say morning, day off today so just waiting for Nannylala to arrive so as we can pop out to T's, and A's to spend my APG vouchers:T Still catching up and hope everyones ok, hugs to anyone that wants one :)

    morning lovely people!

My 7yo D wanted to try out the Voice Command on my phone,
and as we have just run out of orange juice, she asked:
Where is the cheapest place I can buy orange juice
Unfortunately, the phone translated this as, and gave results for
Where is the cheapest place I can buy guns near Orange City Florida :o

    Morning everyone!!
Well got a £10 off any spend shop after complaining after this week... t's had as usual tried to mug me off with a bad substitution meaning I lost out on a good offer on kitkats, and I also complained that I ordered 25 green beans at 2p each (50p worth) and they sent 94p's worth :o OH told me to not be ridiculous but I thought I would give it a go as havent complainmed about anything for a few weeks...always worth a go with t's!
the guy on the phone was on the usual transcript:
"I can understand how upset you must have been having been overcharged 42p for the green beans and missing out on four kit kats" :rotfl:
They must have such a laugh over the carp people complain about...I was trying to hurry him off the phone as DS was in the bath so he was really kind and said he would refund me fully for both products and give me a £10 ecoupon. Woooo!!:T
Hope everyone on here is well?
We have all been ill, DS is suffering the worst at the moment..I drove up to buckingham to see a friend yesterday and it totally knocked him out. Probably shouldnt have done it as I was so exhausted after the drive I just wanted to sleep too lol!
Am glad the clubcard exchange is back...lets hope they don't bump up too many prices as I think I am going to use this to get the bulk of DS's birthday presents. We are so so skint at the moment, still got to pay off my car repair bill, plus need to get petrol within the next week... then car insurance...then paying off debts to friends and family :(
When DS starts nursery in sept I have promised myself that I will sell at least 5-10 bits on ebay each week to try and make some extra cash and de clutter. Might just do one big car boot as ebay just gets on my nerves with the amount of people that bid with no intention to buy etc.
Anyway will leave it at that, always seem to waffle on about my whole life storywhen ever I come on here haha!! xx

Ha ha ha, you made me do a proper belly laugh at the "thieving gets" bit.. Are you a northerner? It reminds me of various sayings from my younger years and I've not heard it said in a very long time.. ha ha. I'm from the north west originally btw

No, I'm from the west of Scotland :D

Glad it made you chuckle though, that was me trying to be polite about them, didn't fancy a ban ;);) :rotfl:

    Morning all

Just a quick catch up, be back later, my breakfast has just arrived :D I love it when OH isn't working :D
