morning all. Yesterday when I picked up my girl from school her teacher gave me an update on how she was in swimming. Effectively said that she was fine and that they did a few things (like getting things of the bottom of the poll) that she enjoyed.

However, afterwards when I tried to talk to her she ended up in tears cos she wanted to go swimming with year 1. At that point I told her that she'll be Year 1 in September...just before baby is born. Then she sqeezed my hand and said 'oh thank you mummy'.

    Bless her heart.

Am going to keep asking her about her school swimming and have told her to tell her teacher if there's anything wrong. On the carrot side when she goes to her proper lessons I've promised her a fun trip to the pool at the weekend if she tries hard.

    Fingers crossed it works.

Tesco jobs for today.....find more price flop vouchers and head straight for the cake aisle.
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.

A Black Necked Stilt, on a very still stretch of water

Well, we brought the British Bank Holiday weather with us . It p**d down for 2 days, so heavily that the ground is sodden. The up side is that all the plants are growing apace. A piece of scrub land near us had been cleared of vegetation, and was bare when we arrived, and between last saturday and today has grown a 3 inch high covering of plants. It is amazing how quickly stuff grows here.
Spent today on 'our' beach, watching the pelicans diving for fish. We have regular morning bird visitors to our balcony, including grackels, lesser Antillian bullfinches, bananaquits, and a cheeky laughing gull, that sits on the rocks outside and calls for his breakfast, very loudly. He will catch pieces of bread in flight when you throw them.
Off to the market early tomorrow to get more fruit, then to another gorgeous beach for the morning.
Hope you are all well. Pleased to hear Mr & Mrs 3dogs had a good weekend.
Please let me know if photos are ok for size, or if I need to shrink them more.

    wow :)

If that happened to me I think I would have lost it:o they have no right whatsoever to embarrass customers. Remember that we are customers! Paying customers.

    Just having a rant.

Me too, again really its lack of training, they should be told what they should say in these situations.

Just popped in quickly the guinea pig & chicken story made me cry yesterday morning so I'm not going to read too far back
