OK new question.
I know this was recently discussed but I missed the details and I have no idea where it was now.
When woopsieing, deals such as BOGOF continue to stand, is that correct
So say I was to get a block of reduced cheese and a second BOGOF stickered block of reduced cheese then was charged for both, could I claim DTD
Or have I got that completely from nowhere
BOGOF doesn't usually work on whoopsied items. It is usually only where there is more than one discount offer on the same range that it works, ie if something is on say 3 for £5 AND 5 for £8 or whatever - needs to be a multi offer0 -
I sometimes wonder who would save the Andrex puppy points .

dear mrs mmw

I could have left it out for the !!!!!! to collect but i would rather have struggled on my own to get it in and out of the car and across to tumble drier heaven than let !!!!!! make even a single penny out of it!
Does no-one else consider the term "!!!!!" to be offensive? I always thought using it was a no-no
I always save myself the petrol money and leave anything like that out on the street for someone to take. Not having to haul it to the recycling depot reduces the risk of putting my back out or damaging my car. My council would collect it if I asked them to but I don't see the point in organising a collection because it would undoubtedly have been lifted by a passerby before the council ever got to me
I consider people who uplift goods like that to be doing me a service and I think of it as an extreme form of wombling on their part. If I am happy to make money out of other peoples receipts I can't begrudge someone making money out of my unwanted white goods.
But that's just me, obviously you are free to do what you want with your own propertyApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

I've got one of those electronic lice combs - the audible tone changes when it has located one - and is in the process of electrocuting it
Forgive me for "just appearing" but I was a regular under an old name last year. But both my Parents died last year and I had such a horrid time - so I'm starting afresh....So HELLO again everybodyFriendship Is Magic.0 -

Talking of Council collecting items for recycle/disposal.
I had to pay them £18 to take away a small freezer and an old TV last year. They charge £13.00 for the first item, then £5.00 for each additional item. :mad:Friendship Is Magic.0 -
