Sad news for your son - if it was my decision I would wait and get him involved but you know how your son reacts to things whatever you decide I send hugs to you both0 -

If you walk past a bin and there's a pair of purple legs sticking out, you might want to investigate who they belong to cos you just never know!0 -
Morning everyone
Back from a wonderful weekend
Feels like I have been gone from here a month. Not even sure how many pages have been filled since I last checked.

Used the cake and frozen price flop vouchers today. Worked fine. Should have picked up some more mags whilst I was there....only have 1 left. But intend to go back in tomorrow and to see what I can find.
With all these cakes and mars bars I'm going to be the size of a house. But being pregnant is the one time of my life when that is a good thing.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

[Good morning everyone, hope you all had a good Bank Holiday weekend.Mine was enjoyable sharing it with the family at
Mr Lala's Birthday tea party.I made him a lovely retro spread(as this is what he likes;)) I like to keep DS in law happy:Dand to see the table full of lovely food for so little money is surely what this all about.
West is Best hope your party went well and your cake was a success ......
It went really well Nanny, Thank you... we had a fantastic time but me and my DD had a bit of a pretend squabble when she was about to cut the cake, as she knew how proud I was of it!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:rhosynbach wrote: »hi after having a lovely long weekend ending with the whole family round for dinner and watched War horse which was brilliant, got up today my son fed his bunny and guinea pig then went to school, we were watching them out of the window when the guinea pig suddenly collapsed my husband rushed out but she had died instantly so shocked as my son has had her for 8 years he is going to be so upset.
Espeacily as he has a pet orpington chicken that follows him around but she is old and we were talking to him this morning that if her legs get worse she will have to be put down. He was so grown up and said he does not want her to suffer so agreed. so sad as he has had her since she was hatched and she sits on his lap and likes to be stroked, my mum does not understand and says she is just a chicken why make a fuss,, but if any animal is raised with the children they come like one of the family and we cannot have dogs or cats as i am badly asmatic so no animals are allowed in the house..
I think this is a Welsh thing, as my parents would be exactly the same... bless his cotton sox, I hope he'll be ok about the guinea pig0 -

Please wait and give him the choice. If he wants no part of it then you can still bury her without him, but if you bury her without him even knowing then you take that choice away from him, at 12 he knows about life and death and if I had taken that choice away from my kids at that age it would have upset them even more.
I feel for you, it is very hard breaking the news to kids, but he may well prove to be more grown up about it than you suspect he will be.
Good luck with whatever you choose to do.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
