Ooh, is this where you're from? I am originally from the Sham and I have been teaching my mum the ways of MSE over the last few months! V annoying though as the scanner doesn't work anymore :(.

Tried to send my sister in for Mars bars the other day but she chickened out - please tell me there were none there so I don't feel so bad :rotfl:

Loved the trouting story by the way! Maybe best not to tell my mum to look for 4p socks there, she'd be scared off for life :rotfl:

There were non in that store. Well there wasn't after about 1am anyway!! ;)

They must not be as warm as they state and people run the risk of getting the flu thinking their feet are warm when they are really chilly

Or of course the socks could be thicker than normal socks, making people slightly taller and causing them the risk of hitting their head on things

Aha. I just googled the newspaper hoarder and there is a follow uP planned for later this year on 4 but no date given yet!!

I'm feeling naughty. Just got back from a sun holiday mini break tonight (came home a day early as fed up of the leaky toilet  ) and found a creme egg that had been hidden away by OH.

    ...it was very nice:D

I'll definitely watch out for that then - thanks.

I 'accidentally' ate my OH's Boost tonight - I didn't realise he was saving it ;) Anyway I replaced it with some of the Haribo spring time sweets and he said 'I bet you got these cheap - thats why you bought me them!' :o:rotfl::o

hello msgoggins  sounds like you are already doing well with your sock finds!

mona lisa - congratulations on your new little daughter :)
Erm I'm not sure if I've got the hang of this money saving.....I seem to be spending more money buying 'bargains' that I don't really need - oops!! :)

Does anyone know if the Value fish fingers are any good? At 60p for 10 they seem quite cheap. I also came across these...for 69p they seem like a bargain, if you don't mind the "minced fish" that is:eek:
