Hi
I live in woooster so usually do those stores. My first time in the E store, socks were the only thing i could see clothing wise. there were loads of the mars etc snack bars but didnt want to chance it and have got one or two ( dozen) already. I usually report on the two woooo stores if the glitches work so happy to pass info on if you want:)
QUOTE=littleladybug;52903885]Ooh, is this where you're from? I am originally from the Sham and I have been teaching my mum the ways of MSE over the last few months! V annoying though as the scanner doesn't work anymore.
Tried to send my sister in for Mars bars the other day but she chickened out - please tell me there were none there so I don't feel so bad :rotfl:
Loved the trouting story by the way! Maybe best not to tell my mum to look for 4p socks there, she'd be scared off for life :rotfl:[/QUOTE]Number 35 :j0 -
I might just hit him over the head with a vintage teacup and then finish him off with a wack with a slate heart :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Toni`s Mummy0

Evening all... Havent been on in a while but have sort of managed to catch up... First topic socks.... Found some , went to check the price but both out of order.. Second topic, hair salon... Tried brooklands hair acadamy in ashford tonight (training college for trainee hairdressers) I was soooo impressed, she did a lovely job of my hair and the best bit, it only cost a tenner for a wash, cut and blow dry soooo happy..highly recommend giving the training college students a chance to practice plus it saved me £50 than going to my normal salon !!0

Does anyone remember the John West Sild (type of fish) last year that was going through cheap.
Well my local had both types for 32p today down from £1.30

And look in store for little handy packs of kleenex, saw a lady with a SA looks like she had been overcharged. SEL was 14p
Thanks Tinyshoes, i have never tried "Sild" is it similar to mackerel at all ??? i love most fish so im sure this would be fine, its just i like to have an idea of what something is going to taste like before i put it into my mouth - as don't like surprises, food wise .Very proud to be Strip club member No 430 -

There was gonna be a part 2 but I never saw it. I got a real emotional connection to him and would love to discover that therapy worked for him. It was quite touching to see the community spirit demonstrated by his neighbours in the end.
Yes I saw this - I didn't know there was going to be a 2nd part - I would be really interested to see it too - I've thought about him many times after the programme. I could not believe that he was able to live like that and on just a boiled egg each day and the amount of calories he was taking in was less than the amount he used just making it because it was such a (dangerous) and mammoth task  Thank goodness for the lovely builder neighbour who was the first to actually approach and help him :AErm I'm not sure if I've got the hang of this money saving.....I seem to be spending more money buying 'bargains' that I don't really need - oops!!0
