    Thanks Westie :T

Made it across in my usual 'I'm late' mode :o

Only 1 working day today then off till next saturday :D

Boss has sacked someone but not replaced them so it's such exhausting hard work :( with little or no help from them as they are too busy with their online shop

Been up since 4am with chest pains :( it's trapped wind from accidently eating garlic last night - so have had to drink lots of fizzy pop & Andrews to try & burp :o:o

Anyway enough of my prattle & self pity - have a lovely cheesy day wrapped in your 4p dressing gowns :T

    Morning folks.

Thanks durham05. You are obviously better at spotting bargains in my local than I am:rotfl: Was in there at 5:30 this morning for milk and bread but didn't have time to browse.

Very O/T question but does anyone know where I can buy one of those long handled, litter picking things that you see people using? No, it's not for wombling receipts but to try and rescue a wall clock that has fallen down into a cavity wall:o. Difficult to explain the situation but OH was using a club hammer and chisel to knock a hole through a wall(yes I,ve got her well trained:rotfl:) and the vibrations caused the clock to drop off the wall and down the cavity:eek:. It's just out of reach but I think I could "grabbit" with one of those.

It might also help me to remove some of the frightening amount rubble:mad: that I can see down in the cavity at around DPC level at a point that seems to coincide with a bit of rising damp that I've had to have treated.

    See you later:)
    Awaiting a new sig

    Good morning all.

Anyone confirm if the cheese is still working? I can see it online, just wondering if anyone has actually tried it?

Also, in the audio sale, not directly related but does anyone know if any portable dvd players are cheap?
