i am actually kinda glad. this toe has been ulcerated/infected since april last year. it nearly heals then breaks down again.

the ulcer has eaten away the bone now so it has to come off.

so when they chop it off, at least it will heal properlly and wont be a nuisacne anymore. i so looking forward to going swimming with my son,and racing him up to the end of the pool. (i win) :j:j,
i am also looking forward to having a bath/shower without having a plastic boot on my ankle.
MMW - not as severe as having her toe off but my auntie suffered with both her big toe nails and finally had them both removed last year. She had non stop grief and said she was glad to be rid (aren't feet funny things to talk about?) So i hope it makes life easier for you when it's done.

Calmspirit - I'm excited for your date!! By wearing your B Jones knickers, you'l feel and loo fab. just don't let "Hugh Grant" come in for a snog and then.. well, you know what happened next :rotfl:

Fudge Cake - the T i went to is not the nicest one, shoulda known not to be tempted by doughnuts. But I have had them from the big Extra before and they have been really fresh. Think I should avoid now - will wait and see if i get a nice free 12 box or something as compo from the H/O.

West is best - hope your DD has a fabulous 18th birthday today:D

    Is it home time yet?

I remember someone saying the next offer (as in knives/glasses/pans) is going to be luggage but I cant find the reference.
Does anyone know when this will be starting?
    TIA
Take care what you do on the way up, it may come back at you on the way down.

Happy birthday to your DD1s! My parents live in another country and we have the routine of skype parties - comparing Easter/Christmas decorations, Birthdays cakes - it was kind of sad in the b beginning, but with the time it became more of The hostess with the mostess competition :D
Happy birthday to Heulwen:)! The cake looks fabulous!
Now off to Mr T's on a socks hunt:)

How disappointing... I treated myself to a Krispy Kreme doughnut when I popped into T earlier. It was winking at me and I'd saved it on my desk for this afternoon.. wish I hadn't bothered now. It was a bit stale and no "kreme" filling (it's a bit like walnut whip cream inside). It didn't stop me eating every last mouthful but I didn't enjoy it. so I've just sent an email to KK H/O. £1.50 on a doughnut means it should be bloomin' good and it wasn't. Rant over. :rotfl:

:mad::mad::mad: How very dare they? Has to be fresh (ok for a day at home but not from store) Disappointed for you :(

MMW toetally agree - off with it's head & on with your life :T

We had a late lunch in Wetherspoons in Llandudno.
My BIL ordered a Reggae Reggae Chicken wrap. Arrived with no Reggae Reggae sauce  My sister took it back to bar & they said they would send some sauce out.
10 minutes later  wrap now cold - he gets presented with a pot of 1000 island dressing
    Not impressed :(
