another rainy day- looks like I will be needing that Ark after all! Bubbs hope all OK and you get to return to a dry home soon xx

Spirallingdown so sorry to hear you have not been well BUT so excited to hear that you spent the day in your new house! When do you move in ??

3dogs so glad the car thing is sorted and hope this rain stops soon so you and alan can enjoy some lovely day trips with the sunshine you both deserve xx

sorry for not mentioning others but hoping everyone OK - sending hugs to all......feel free to join in :-) off to work now

I have a date tonight!!!!! And just to prove that I am addicted to MSE and T's .....my first thought was OMG what happens if there is a glitch and i miss it???!!!

have a great day everyone xxx

    Thanks Calmspirit,
I can move in when I want but they have to sort out the sitting room floor, there was wooden floor down when an inspection was done so they missed a hole in the floor as it was only noticable when the floor was lifted and the builders failed to mention to anyone about it so they have to come back out to fix it before I can get any flooring down :(
Also have to arrange for my furniture to be delivered, which will take a week or so but that will give me more time to sort other stuff out.
Taking my Dad to B&Q tomorrow to get him to sign for their Diamond card so I can buy my flooring and paint and get the 10% discount.

I hope you have a good time on your date xxx

Good morning - bright and breezy here this morning - off to town so might have a rummage through Superdrug I need a grocery shop but not sure I can justify an £80 spend - does anyone know if you can find out what the new offers are this week then i can see if anything matches with what I need to stock up on?

Morning all, dry and windy here Tweets too ... off to do some boring ironing now, then a quick 'sock run' via a little detour to work. Just had to escort Riley cat out for 10 minutes, armed with the grandkids super-duper water pistol. The magpies are giving him a bit of grief. I think their dearly departed must have been 'daddy mapgie' judging by the hit squad knocking about this morning.

Let's hope Tuesday becomes another 'Chocolate Orange' day ...

Fingers firmly crossed for you... I know what it's like, when I was still living at home we were flooded. Had a night spent in my bedroom with 2 dogs sleeping on my bed, my dad sleeping on the floor, 2 rabbits in a box on my desk and the chickens sleeping in my brother's room!
Then 9 years later this happened again....

    WarwickshireFloods2007Marton001FULLSIZE.jpg

Not as bad as the first floods, strangely enough both our neighbours were flooded but my dad's house wasn't!
The previous flood was so bad you wouldn't have seen those cars.

The river has burst it's banks last night so the donkey and horse on our fields had to move to pastures new!

I am praying that the rain stops now, my dad and step mum have just redecorated the entire house, my step mum is so happy the house is now as she has wanted it for years, so she'd be so gutted..
Problem is the river is behind, to the side and at the front of our house :(

So Bubbs, and anyone else at risk, am praying no one gets flooded!
Hope all of you are doing well today, and keep practicing those sun dances! :D

Thanks for the wishes, i hope and pray everything is ok for your dad and stepmum too, im at work really so should get on, but the funny thing is im staying at a client/friends house who i do work for but hes away till end may but he does know my and DH are here!

Sorry to hear this! That is rotten. Hope you keep safe and can keep your chin up. I am sure a few glitches will help toward the birthday pressies. :)

Thank you, yes it would help lots!!! Just hate the thought of people coming into our home. Think living in our area in north Devon we just got a little comfortable, but no longer, we will live in a permanent locked up home!!!

Just been through floods to get to nursery, luckily there is a different route later on higher ground, by the looks of things it's nothing compared too others.
