Nothing to get excited about d'con_blue - it's their carrier bag with poppy design, probably Bag for Life or something like that ;)

    Good morning peeps,

Thank you miss laid for the bargain socks, my mum runs a market stall and my daughter helps at weekends, and it gets v cold indeed, so they will be very grateful indeed.

Really hope everyone is keeping safe in this horrific weather.

Completely thrown yesterday as during the day we had someone on our property and they took a car stereo and a tv which was ready to sell. Prob would have got 100 for the lot towards DS 2nd birthday. This is the 4 th time in as many years. We have locks for everything apart from the outside dog kennel where at the weekend we put a few things to sell. You have to enter two lots of gates to get in there. I think we got complacent, other half went out and bought more locks and chains, so whoever gets in now will have to be called Hudini!!!!

Unfortunately our back lane that leads to several houses is often targeted by gangs that visit the area. Great.

    Hugs to all x

Sorry to hear this! That is rotten. Hope you keep safe and can keep your chin up. I am sure a few glitches will help toward the birthday pressies. :)

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
    Good morning all :)
Feeling a good bit better today,
waiting on a call from Sainsbobs. My mum bought 12 palmolives yesterday and went through SS till, they accepted 2 MOCs the SA put another through then wouldn't put anymore said she had to check with duty manager, who then had to check with HO CS but they were closed until this morning, so now waiting on her ringing to more than likely say 'no'
I told mum that she needed to put them through 2 at a time along with something about 40p or more but she said she was in a hurry to get home but this ended up taking much longer D'oh!

Anyway of to do the school run and then some fish tank shopping/buying, my 40 baby mollies and plattys are getting big so need a tank for them.

Morning folks, thanks again for the good wishes, we have not flooded yet.............just made a phone call but it is raining and we are still on high alert! so the saga continues

Fingers firmly crossed for you... I know what it's like, when I was still living at home we were flooded. Had a night spent in my bedroom with 2 dogs sleeping on my bed, my dad sleeping on the floor, 2 rabbits in a box on my desk and the chickens sleeping in my brother's room!
Then 9 years later this happened again....

    WarwickshireFloods2007Marton001FULLSIZE.jpg

Not as bad as the first floods, strangely enough both our neighbours were flooded but my dad's house wasn't!
The previous flood was so bad you wouldn't have seen those cars.

The river has burst it's banks last night so the donkey and horse on our fields had to move to pastures new!

I am praying that the rain stops now, my dad and step mum have just redecorated the entire house, my step mum is so happy the house is now as she has wanted it for years, so she'd be so gutted..
Problem is the river is behind, to the side and at the front of our house :(

So Bubbs, and anyone else at risk, am praying no one gets flooded!
Hope all of you are doing well today, and keep practicing those sun dances! :D
