hmmmmmm update we are evacuated as rain forecast and if the river bursts its bank, will let you all now later how we get on

Aww I've got my fingers crossed for you bubbs x good luck I hope the water resides a bit before tonight's rain, I so hope you don't get flooded.

I live on the top of a mountain and was flooded once!! The council had knocked down the houses behind mine and blocked the culvert so one night when it rained really bad all the water off the mountain decided to pay me a visit! I had only just got out of hospital after having my youngest by c section! It was a nightmare! All the ground floor was wreaked including all my baby stuff and laptop with all the newborn photos on! We ended up having to live upstairs for 3 months with my newborn an 18 month old and 3 year old!
I was only glad that I had full insurance, I tried to claim compensation from the council for blocking the drains but got zilch as apparently even though they did block the drain the water was a result of heavy rain which is an act of god! Grr

Hi everyone, hope you've all had good days.
Just received my Tesco Easy Home Bake from Bzz Agent

It's just a pile of coupons, the problem is I can't find any of the home baking stuff in my local store :(

I really wanted to get onto this trial but didn't get invite, although i am now currently on the Activia, Halo and Voltarol campaigns.

I got trouted in McD's years ago  Won some medium fries and she said I couldn't claim them for six hours or something stoopid like that

    I'm still traumatised

That is rubbish, i work in office in back of a McD store and if anyone gets the instant win food prizes they usually redeem straight away, we get quite a few of these.

Oh bubbs hope the rain does not do it's worst. Stay safe. x

Thanks for all the good wishes for Mr TS, got to be taxi for DD3 before I can settle down with a glass or two. ;)

Tweets, I'm a Pepsi Max girl too most of the time but I will have to go and get some as I have run out unless the B2G2F diet coke I have will do. Had to push up my shop yesterday to £40 to use a £6 till split and pepsi was not on offer (just could not bring myself to pay full price) and they were even OOS of coke zero which is my 2nd preference. I do have full fat Pepsi in 1l bottles in my stash if you don't like Coke. ;)

Have some Carlsberg and Magners for the non wine drinkers too. Sorry the Hobgoblin is being saved for Mr TS when we go camping. :)

worth checking his hearing first of all, it may be as simple as he is withdrawn because he cant hear?

some kids of that age can be SO imersed in a TV show/toy that they are oblivious to things around them....they get like that again when teenagers lol

but yes ......worth mentioning just to be sure that she is aware, does he attend playgroup/toddler group ...perhaps ask her how he enjoys it? how he plays etc
I know we should never compare kids to others as they are SO individual and can be so many factors in how they act (from hearing problems to autism or even just plain old shyness) but being aware is important .....hopefully its nothing to worry about and he will be running around driving you mad with noise in his own good time

    :D

Thankyou, he's had his hearing checked and it's fine. He goes to a playgroup on a Friday which my Mum drops him off and picks him up from, she says he's always just playing by himself but really likes it and always runs in.
I think his Mum is in denial.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.

Made me smile as he actually went out and bought new shoes yesterday. :rotfl:

And he wore £1 trousers from the sale before xmas, but would not wear one of the £1 shirt and tie sets I got as apparently stripes do not go with stripes so he settled for a white shirt instead. :)
