hmmmmmmmmm just had a phone call if we have any more rain we are going to be flooded :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: and its getting blacker and blacker , the rain stopped for about 2 hours so dont know what to dooooooooooo

First of all, get anything of sentimental value/ irreplaceable out or up high (photos, exam certificates, jewellery etc). Then try and get furniture either upstairs or raised off the ground. Make sure vulnerable electrical socket circuits are switched off or switch off electrics at the fuseboard if you are definitely going to be flooded. Move your car to higher ground if you have time. Get out torches, matches and candles in case your power goes. If you are definitely going to be flooded you will have to decide whether to evacuate or move upstairs if that's an option. Make sure you have food and drink, water for washing and blankets readily available. A wind up radio is useful.

    Good luck.
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Hi, everyone:)
As some of you know, I'm in Rochester visiting my brother. Reason is my wife and I are 'having a break' When I got here my car has been crashed into, causing a few £ hundred damage!
But I had a lovely brilliant day on Sat with Calmspirit:A
After our meeting, I went to sada and I apparently lost my phone, I didn't know until the police turned up at 5am to ask if i'm ok!
Reason was that whoever found my phone sent nasty and filthy messages to my wife saying I was dead!!!

Sorry for your troubles, things will get better. :A For this sort of reason I never list my home as home, family as their family roles etc on my phone. There are some very sick barstewards out there.
    Hope is not a strategy.

Sorry if this is repeated information, but no time to catch up with today's chat.

Received a £3 off WYS £20, till spit today, and it expressly states, that is CANNOT be used with the £10 WYS £80, "helping hand" till spit.

So that rule may apply to all till spits, so please check them carefully.

Especially with letters from companies in the post too! Still have a stock of HP paper from the PC world/Currys £5 glitch :D

I don't know how you lot print so many coupons for these offers like palmolive, cambells, etc.:T Even with printing couple on each paper, what do you do for ink, I must be the only one who has a printer which drinks ink like its water! So I usually miss the coupon printing glitches:(

    Any ink saving/buying tips?:A

    p.s. I have a HP all in one 6300:o

I have a HP F4580 and last week I bought some T Value Ink (Colour £7ish and B&W £5ish) and for the first time ever I refilled the cartridges ... I must say I'm very impressed ... esp since I can apparently get 6 refills out of the Black at least. :T

Must admit I was thinking this, police recommend you have an ICE. But like in Scamps case this would be the one that some sick person is going to contact. :(

Really sorry haven't posted for ages on here but Ive had such a naff birthday I just felt like I needed to moan to someone & I know you guys wont judge me for moaning ;)
I know Im gonna sound so ungrateful but Im past caring! Was supposed to be going to the coast in the caravan for the weekend but by Thursday hubby had decided it was going to be too wet & windy for it to be enjoyable. Weather yesterday & today has been fine, if not sunny at times-typical! No present from hubby even though the only thing I asked for was a pair of slippers, however I was given a really naff bunch of flowers that he even said he knew I wouldnt like but wasnt paying anymore than that as they were just something for the kids to give to me! He knows I cant stand old granny looking flowers, washed out lilac toned chysanths that remind me of purple rinses & poodles, they dont even match anything in the house. So I havent bothered putting the plant food in! But why buy something he knows wont be appreciated? Waste of money & I find it quite offensive that after 15 years together he can't think of anything to get me. To top it off he invited his family round for tea that we dont even get on with!!??? So Ive spent all day trying to battle my anxiety disorder. Really could have just walked out on it all as it makes me feel so worthless & unappreciated. Probably seems worse to me as Im the type that spends ages planning hubbys & kids birthdays & put lots of thought in to what they get.
Thanks for listening I feel so much better for that ;)

Sorry this is late, I'm still catching up but just had to reply to you FF2. I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a disappointing birthday. I completely know where you are coming from as I've felt the same for the past few birthdays (and Christmases) :(. It's the lack of thought that really gets to me :(

Hope you are having a better day today, feel free to PM if you want a chat x
