:) MOTs are linked online to Car Tax so the system knows if you haven't a valid MOT.
Depending on your Post Office they should/could issue you the Disabled Tax Disc without the MOT certificate being shown. BUT you must take in the Van's logbook (& valid certificate of motor insurance) as this needs to be sent away to have the Tax Class changed. You could, to save time fill in the details now & sign it. Then The PO can send it off for you (free of charge)

The leaflet we have says we must have the MOT, Log-book, Insurance certificate and Entitlement to DLA letter with us when getting Tax disc .................... think I might try it like you say. The thing with Insurance Certs and MOT's these days is that you don;t need them when renewing online, which we do, so they get 'lost' :o

remember these, i had no real use for them but i thought they would come in handy. well i normally clean our shower head with vinegar overnight. i tried one of the tablets from this pack in a large cup added boiling water, put shower head in. i left for 1hr and it was descaled.

Yes 1998 but i wasnt here then and alot of the town was flooded, but was told it would never happen again!

1998 - I remember it well    Sat in my office with water lapping at the wall outside. I was lucky, the pub next door was completely flooded out and closed for ages afterwards for refit, and the golf course was completely under water - swans swimming up the 18th towards the clubhouse

now this sounds interesting... as we live in a very softwater area, no one else is having the same problems as we are with limescale... where do you actually buy the strips from???
