    Hey guys, been offline for a couple of days and prob have zero chance in catching up - totally missed the 24p choc glitch but overall I'm not sure it's a bad thing :o

    Celebrate - your post made me laugh, and yours as well Samit1e, can I add 1 more.....

    ...when you have spend nearly an hour in tacto, planning very carefull and £80 shop, walking about with notepad, pen and calculator, before you feel awfully smug at the checkout when the bill comes for £80.85...check your £10 off £80 voucher is actually valid BEFORE you hand it over :o:o:o 10 points to anyone who can guess what I did today based on that, poor SA had to cancel a whole heap of items. In the end (after some coupons) my (revised) shop came to £6-odd, and £3.50 of that was pork shanks :rotfl: Spotted a lovely long 'ticket' blowing in the wind while trying to find a parking space, when I was eventually parked, raced back to spot where it had been and someone must've driven over it and whisked it away....sniff...such a waste :cool:

    I know I shouldn't really ask, but have I missed anything (except choc glitch where both M'Head Metro and Read!ng were OOS by the time I got there) since Wed evening?

    oh no not another person caught out by this:(:(:(
    i wonder if you should complain to HO about it, really annoying if you have planned a shop and unlikley to spend that amount again next week;);)

    Oh yes, i might, after all i 'made a special journey' and was 'very embarassed' and 'rather inconvenienced' by the whole 'distressing episode' ;) Although i am still waiting for my gift card to come though with JTD for the cheese I bought, not sure I want to push my luck. :o

    penniesforme - try setting your printer settings to print in greyscale, and use black ink only. Some of my JTD and APG's wouldn't scan but I've noticed since I've done this (cos my colours need replacing and I haven't get around to it) that I've had no problems. Would make sense as industrial 'blacks' like barcodes are printed using solely black ink.

    It's probably not your printer, could be the paper or the ink, or you could try this...
    When you go to print something and get the print box, click on properties, and then choose to print at a higher quality setting. I find that some of the coupons need printing at "best" in order that the bar codes will scan; but that's since I started using Tesco's cheapy paper. When this lot runs out I'm getting better stuff.

    mine wouldnt scan today ss came over and helpfully pointed out that it was probally as the item was cheaper than the coupon, she advised me to wait till their offer was over to get full advantage of the coupon. i pointed out the coupon was only valid till monday so she offered to manually override and make the coupon take off the 87p the products cost each (i was using 2 mocs) which meant i got them free but had to pay for my full price for my mars bar.:eek::rotfl:.

    :eek::eek::eek: Disgusting, you should complain to Mr S head office.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I had a super coupon trout in T's today, I swear she was just about to get a microscope out from behind the till so she could scrutinise my coupons just that bit more thoroughly. I handed over 3 McCain ones for my 3 bags of chips, trout stares at coupons for an unfeasibly long amount of time "just checking it's not one per transaction". Trout very :mad: not to find that wording in the coupon.:T

    Then said trout tells me I haven't bought any Birds Eye to match my coupons, I had to empty my bag to show her the waffles and fish fingers - trout :mad: Smart1e :T Don't panic everyone my Birds Eye coupons were from the manufacturer because I told them their fish was rubbish,it was.

    I spotted a whole clipstrip of Melitta Perfect Cleans too - scanned at £1.99:eek: how dare they!
