Well I decided not to bother, but my local WHS is closed Sunday so incase I don't do the Bristol circuit tomorrow, thought I'd pop down and use up the rest of my short dated giftcards on stamps. The manager full on hates me:eek::o:o:oThe SA had to call for some more books of stamps and manager brought them down, saw it was me...and if looks could kill! :eek:But I got my stamps :T(I haven't bought tonnes, 84 2nd class and 36 1st class)

    ! :j

Is that 84 books of stamps or 84 single stamps!

If anyone has had too much of the reduced chocolate (OK you can never have too much chocolate....) alot, but not all, of the Kelly Holmes fitness range is heavily reduced instore, though no online.

    http://www.tesco.com/direct/search-results/results.page?catId=4294967294&searchquery=kelly+holmes&SrchId=4294967294&_requestid=1830018

for the orgional prices, and yes they are 3 for 2 online, but here are some of the items prices instore. These are on white SELs.

    Ankle Weights £3.50
    Wrist Weights £3.25
    5kg Medicine ball £7
    3kg Medicine ball £6
    10lb weighted bar £6
    Pushup Stand £4.75
    Weighted Gym Ball £3.50
    Heat/Cool gel wrap £3.00
    Towel £1
    Sports bottle £1
    Weighted skipping rope £1.75

I did notice that the Mat, Pedometer/heart rate watch, Bell Weight are all the same price as online.

I'm sure this is some kind of glitch as the cheapest I can find a 5kg medicine ball is over £20.

At least carrying it in from the car means you can have a min Galaxy bar!

  • Btw....my handwash coupon would not scan in Mr S today - by now i am suspecting that my printer is too rubbish to print properly. I had the same problem with the bread voucher the last time as well....

it's a new printer - bought in February from PC World. :(

Hey guys, been offline for a couple of days and prob have zero chance in catching up - totally missed the 24p choc glitch but overall I'm not sure it's a bad thing :o

Celebrate - your post made me laugh, and yours as well Samit1e, can I add 1 more.....

...when you have spend nearly an hour in tacto, planning very carefull and £80 shop, walking about with notepad, pen and calculator, before you feel awfully smug at the checkout when the bill comes for £80.85...check your £10 off £80 voucher is actually valid BEFORE you hand it over :o:o:o 10 points to anyone who can guess what I did today based on that, poor SA had to cancel a whole heap of items. In the end (after some coupons) my (revised) shop came to £6-odd, and £3.50 of that was pork shanks :rotfl: Spotted a lovely long 'ticket' blowing in the wind while trying to find a parking space, when I was eventually parked, raced back to spot where it had been and someone must've driven over it and whisked it away....sniff...such a waste

I know I shouldn't really ask, but have I missed anything (except choc glitch where both M'Head Metro and Read!ng were OOS by the time I got there) since Wed evening?

:rotfl:Nah I wasn't quite so courageous and cunning as blondynurse and mharzuk on the ole WHSmith giftcards ;)

    I only amassed about £200 :p:p:rotfl:

I managed to get about £150 on regular giftcards that have a 2 year expiry but then they introduced promo giftcards with an expiry of June 2012 so I used about £50 worth on the stamps. Therefore 84 single stamps!!!

I know I did the same!! I've been debating it for a while and suddenly realised if I didn't get them today in my local I wouldn't get another chance!

So glad I remembered, even if the manager sucks lemons :p

No, not cheeky at all! Savvy is what I'd call it ;):T

It's probably not your printer, could be the paper or the ink, or you could try this...
When you go to print something and get the print box, click on properties, and then choose to print at a higher quality setting. I find that some of the coupons need printing at "best" in order that the bar codes will scan; but that's since I started using Tesco's cheapy paper. When this lot runs out I'm getting better stuff.

    It's only a game
