Type in any name you want and on the right it gives you an alias. If you copy and paste the alias and use that, whatever emails go to that address will go to the name you typed in.

    does that make sense ?

Edit : I use my boys name then put 1, 2, 3 etc after it depending on how many price checks I do.

Thank you for the reply,I will give it a try next time a price check

    Warning by Jenny Joseph

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens
    And learn to spit

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

i do most of those things now :o:o:o

Not disputing what you were told;)but I find that a bit hard to believe. When things like this happen quite a few of my T's totally withdraw the product(My T's that are really on the ball always do this) some never put the white label up and some do (So surely they would all be doing the same thing:cool:)If it's the case of them wanting to get rid rid of something why not reduce it properly?then it would sell far quicker and they would have no need to play games and leak it on the internet;)

Actually I've long believed that many glitches are not glitches at all but clever stock control/marketing by T's.

If they have a glut of cheese to get rid of then doing it with a 'glitch' is easier to control than if you price something dirt cheap. Theres enough savvy shoppers to pick up on it and clear the glut down but if it went public that glut could vanish in just a few hours and T's can't then simply hike the price back up the next day so they could then end up out of stock!

Altering a price 'glitch' back to its 'correct' price is easier to control and my guess is wont incur the wrath of trading standards either.
  • Grrrr. Don't you just hate it when you type a really long post and the computer loses it! Can't be bothered now to retype it all so in summary:

Thorntons 250g Bramble Bunny and Charlie Chick SEL£2 scanned at £1. Got a few. BB end Feb 2013!

Picked up some cheese - 3 packs with 2 price flops no probs. Thanks OP! Glitch or intentional? Who cares? Cheap cheese is cheap cheese :D

Mum's on train heading down so will take her to T's a few times over the next few days! She's babysitting tonight while we go to see Jimmy Carr :T

I had a look at the reduced kosher food in my extra yesterday.
I think it was Tinyshoes who mentioned it so thank you.

I found the litre box of OJ for 49p and 6x200ml of OJ also 49p.
But the best item was The Juice Press pressed apple juice (not from concentrate) which had no SEL.
I made the long trek to CS for a pricecheck as the scanner isn't working and it's 37p :j
It's absolutely delicious, wish I'd bought more.

Yes it was me, I got them on my last visit to Ts before my weekend away from you all. ;) Glad someone else found them. I will look out for the apple juice. :)

Right I'm back, missed you all and see we have another shiny new thread, thanks Westie. Brilliant title by the way. :T

Is it worth me reading back in the old one, last read about 5pm friday, and itching to get to Ts. So would not want to miss anything. :D

Real downer of a day saturday but wont go into detail, think maybe my emotions were running high but I felt bit better on sunday. Both girls did well at their competition with DD3 very close to qualifying for national championships in their sport (DD2 already did earlier in year). Have decided to let DD3 go to the last competition of the season to give her another chance even though it was not in my plans as quite far away. Just managed to book a £29 premier inn before the sale ended yesterday. :)

Mum had results of her CT scan yesterday too, good and bad news, cancer has spread to her ribs, obvious cause of more pain but they are going to try and relieve it with more radiotherapy. Let's hope it makes a difference.

    .

i think this too. during the oep glitch i got a jar of salsa with a yellow and white label on saying 'known overstock'

if they had lots extra of this to get rid of the middle of december wouldn't be a good time to sell them even at a reduced price who's going to buy this kind of thing just before christmas? whereas if it goes on a glitch they might hope that we will buy lots of other items to hide the glitch in among our other shopping.
when the glitch finished i noticed that the oep was on offer so they must have had loads left to get rid of still.

what i can't understand is how T's seem to get it wrong so often when asda etc hardly ever have glitches.
really really happy that they do though:rotfl:
mmm..... these strawberries make my breath happy mum ds

On a strand of pure silver, I'll welcome each day
