Don't worry Jonny I can assure you all sums are now balanced as I said they would, I will say it hasn't been by the penny accounting so I am just using averages.

As a genuine question, if I put more in and the sums even out and I continue to put more in does that mean she owes me money? at what point are couples allowed to stop caring and just be happy?

Don't come the reasonable lad now Percy. If you spout meaningless generalisations you have to expect them back you debt dodger :D

As a genuine question, where are people who don't want to, or aren't able to, buy a house meant to live?

Market forces will adjust prices. As ownership is spread. No one controls enough to influence the market. Unlike other forms of investment.

Few months away from the forum, we still have a certain scot who touts BTL as the second coming, yet his second property was gifted to him and he's not bought another BTL although their joint earnings are allegedly around 100k...

Even when yields in Aberdeen are better than pretty much everywhere, seriously!

Read between the lines here :)

Back in few months :D buh bye!

IMHO I think that is just as unrealistic as the story itself:

Explain where the guy obtained sufficient after tax income to build a property empire that big?

As ultimately it all boils down to cash.

Microman you need to focus on the bigger picture and become a Macroman. The influences on the property markets are beyond the control of anyone individual.

Until banks globally complete their deleveraging process. Then personally I will reserve judgement.
