Hi
I am asking for my sister, she doesn't use the internet much and has been using BT. It is now denying her access and not getting much help from the company.
Does anyone know any Dial Up Companies she can use instead
of BT please?
Thank you for reading.

GeoISP - 020 8114 9845 is their dial up number. Just use anything for the username and password.0

My sister has BT Anytime which means, she gets any numbers starting with 0208 free, but wondering if it will be the same with this number, i don't see why it shouldn't.
I will advise her to ring and find out.
Cheers for the information, really helped her.0 -
I used to use Virgin Media dial up. The current number and rates are on this page

My parents were on BT with dial up internet. I got them to move to TalkTalk (knowing the troubles they sometimes have) and now they have free calls and broadband internet for half the price they were paying BT. Worth considering, it's been reliable enough once the initial transfer issues were sorted0 -
Since you can get Plusnet broadband for £6.49 on all Market 2&3 exchanges, is dial up really worth it? If she spends more than that per month on dial up, switching to broadband really is a no-brainer.
One of the reasons she probably uses it so little is the slowness of dial up.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I agree, a colleague had dial up modem [bt line] and was always moaning about cost, slowness etc
Now on Plusnet BB and actually finds Internet worthwhile, and for much less than BT costs :jNumerus non sum0
